Braid Road

A rather neglected stone-built Victorian manse was brought back to life in this imaginative restoration project. 

We began by removing an ugly 1960s flat roof extension, replacing it with a large south-facing dining kitchen and top lit orangery.  The property was extensively reshaped and enlarged throughout and particular emphasis was placed on traditional materials such as stone, slate and astragalled glazing.
